Pike fishing with lures on the mighty Trawsfynydd. We have done a few days on this 1200 acre nuclear cooling reservoir before and come into contact with nice Pike. The Pike fishing we have faced here has been the most challenging we have encounted yet. With our best Pike lures and a good game plan we try and catch ourselves some Pike. Here at Trawsfynydd you can only use lures and over a certain size for the northern pike fishing. There are some real beasts in this water and this sunken valley in Snowdonia national park has some of the best Pike fishing to offer in the UK.
