Kenshi Loot Bug and Solution

I experienced this bug and found the solution to be the same whether I was running vanilla Kenshi or I had mods installed. I wanted to make this video because I could not find any solution elsewhere. BUG: "Out of Trading Range" message despite the character that is looting the container being well within trading range. SOLUTION: A character will be within looting range and be able to loot the container on the top floor from the bottom floor. However, they won't be able to open the container. You will need one character on the proper floor to open the container, then drag the items to the inventory of the character on the ground floor. I am sure that a mod changed the name of this tower, which is west of Flotsam Village. Everything in this tower respawned, all containers locked again, and the loot in the containers was randomized again, but I had to run for my life out of there. I have no idea if it was a mod, bugs, or the base game. I do know that I have run into the looting problem with no mods running.
