One of the most common procedures in dermatology is the, "Shave Biopsy". In this video, from Board Certified Dermatologist, H.L. Greenberg at Las Vegas Dermatology®, http://lvderm.com, the patient has a suspicious mole that has been biopsied in its entirety down to the superficial fat. Prior to the biopsy, the area was cleaned with Hibiclens, marked and photographed. 2% Lidocaine with Epinephrine was used to Anaesthatize the area, and the biopsy was performed. Post biopsy, the area was covered with vaseline and a bandaid. It should be expected to heal in naturally from below and from the sides in the next 2 weeks. This procedure was performed by Dr. H.L.
