From peaceful views to powerful forts, I explored everything that makes Lonavala special — and this vlog is a full story of that experience. I started my morning in Lonavala and took an auto towards Korigad Fort, a beautiful hill fort known for its calm nature trails and stunning 360° mountain views. After exploring the top and capturing the raw beauty of Korigad, I returned towards Lonavala — and on the way discovered amazing viewpoints like Shivling Point, where the mountains naturally form a shape like a Shivling. From there, the journey continued to the iconic Tiger Point and Lion’s Point, two of the most famous viewpoints in Lonavala. Clouds, deep valleys, cool winds and crazy views — everything a traveller dreams of. Later, I visited a local Ganpati temple, took blessings, and explored the simple yet lively Lonavala Market, famous for its different flavours of Lonavala Chikki. The next morning, I took a local train from Lonavala to Malavli, the gateway to one of the most historic forts of Maharashtra — Lohagad Fort. From Malavli, I trekked towards the fort and climbed the 425 steps leading to the main entrance. Lohagad’s history, massive walls and monsoon views make it one of the best treks near Mumbai and Pune. And then came the highlight — the legendary Vinchu Kata, a long tail-shaped ridge extending from Lohagad Fort. Reaching there is not easy; the path is narrow, windy and thrilling. But once you stand on Vinchu Kata, the scenery is unforgettable. This vlog captures nature, history, forts, viewpoints, local life, markets, and the real story of Lonavala beyond the usual spots.
