ITALY in a motorhome - Part 7 San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and Casa Sola winery | Camper Trips

This is the seventh video in a longer series. First, we visit Monteriggioni, a beautiful, tiny walled hilltop village with a long history. Then we drive to San Gimignano, a lot bigger, but an absolutely must-visit place if you come to Tuscany. Finally, we have a guided tour and a wine tasting at Fattoria Casa Sola, a winery in the middle of the Chianti district. Casa Sola is also an AgriCamper Italia host, so we stayed here for the night before we continued our adventure. During 19 days we drove 2.830 kilometres through a good part of Italy. Mainly Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. We had been planning the trip for weeks and months, to be sure we could visit a lot of the best local producers of wine, pasta, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, cheese, hams, salamis and more. We want to see how it's made, taste it, and speak to the people behind the products. It was a fabulous journey with a lot of fantastic new knowledge for us. Sometimes we could stay at the producers' premises, sometimes we stayed by Agricamper hosts. Follow us and get inspired.
