How to make Honda Element Blackout car camping curtains. DIY Van Life Minivan Amazon Rod & Curtains

Blackout privacy curtains are necessary to be safe camping in a car, van or minivan - so I had to make them for my Honda Element. I hope my method of DIY van life minivan curtains helps you. I know I watched MANY videos before I got this idea. I bought the curtains from Amazon, the curtain rods from Ace Hardware and I got help from my brother, Jimmy and my sister-in-law Sioux. Sioux did the expert cutting and sewing to make the curtains fit in Poppy and added velcro strips so the curtains close. Jimmy cut and sanded the metal curtain rods for me. Had I done this project all myself, I would have used fabric glue and a stapler for the curtains and bought some kind of metal saw for the rods. I’m so grateful I got their help.
