In this lesson, I'll be demonstrating how to use various strategies for soloing over a Jazz standards (using Autumn Leaves as an example). Strategies include using chord tones, scales and modes from both the major scale and melodic minor scale (the Altered Mode specifically). There is a "Play-By-Play" at the very end so be sure to check that out. While this standard is played in a variety of keys, I'll be demonstrating in C Major/A Minor for the sake of simplicity.
