This week I'm looking forward to sharing this lovely classic landscape painting with you all, of a simple wetlands scene at dusk. Equipment list: I'm using some lovely 100% cotton Arches watercolour paper today, it's a smallish block measuring 18cm x 26cm or 7 inches x 10 inches. The paper is 300gsm or 140lb weight. The colours I'll be using are: Neutral Tint, Cobalt Blue, Raw Sienna, Alizarin Crimson Hue, Burnt Sienna, and White Gouache. The brushes I'm using are: a large Escoda Ultimo synthetic mop brush size 14; a Princeton Neptune round synthetic brush size 4; a mid-size Da Vinci Colineo synthetic flat brush size 12; a Pro Arte synthetic Masterstrokes Series 60 miniature brush size 4/0; a Pro Arte synthetic Sword Liner brush size Small; and a small Daler Rowney Aquafine Fan brush size 2.
