This week Doug and I took a long road trip up to Massachusettes to join our friend Erik to metal detecting some of the oldest houses in American. The regular gang wasn't able to join us but we were joined by our good friends Stef from the YouTube Channel Stef Digs, as well as Brad from Green Mountain Metal Detecting to try to tackle a few days of detecting some incredibly historic homes! This is day one, and Erik lined up this beautiful home built way back in 1780. There were massive trees flanking the front door, undisturbed ground surrounding the house, and plently of open spaces to swing our coils.
