In the past, I was able to get it running successfully by following this tutorial, but this particular game was the only one that stayed unstable after testing. I couldn’t get the others to work. I might try a few of the ones I missed later. Since the PPjoy + Glovepie combo doesn’t work properly on 64-bit OS, I had to install Ppjoy in Windows 10 test mode. I also tried several times with Freepie and vJoy, but I failed to write a working Python script — ChatGPT wasn’t much help with that part. Basically, using IR light guns with a Switch emulator won’t work properly with mouse spanning or joystick mode — you’ll end up seeing a cursor that moves like a log. Still, this setup at least shows the potential for light gun play. The Switch emulation project itself has some risks, so forking it won’t be easy. Maybe we’ll just have to rely on argonlefou’s DemulShooter or wait for a proper plugin to come out. #Lightgun #nintendoswitch #gun4ir
