War Thunder - AMX-30B2 BRENUS, Yeah it's Still Bad!

The AMX-30B2 BRENUS is an 8.7 French main battle tank. Why is it 8.7? No idea. The normal AMX-30B2 should be 8.0 and the BRENUS should be 8.3. And even then, it'd be outclassed by every other tank at 8.3. It's got an alright unstabilized 105mm cannon that fires an APFSDS with 361mm's of max pen, and a 20mm that will shred light tanks to bits and delete cannon barrels/tracks with ease. That's about the only good thing about this tank. It has an average reload, 8.7 secs stock 6.7 secs aced. The mobility is alright, but an A1A1 at the same BR is just as quick but with a stabilizer. The armor is basically worthless, the ERA won't really help you too often since you're at 8.7 and everything you fight is using a dart. Especially since nearly every game is an uptier to 9.3/9.7. Can you imagine that? This thing has to fight Kpz-70/MBT-70's when it isn't even a full uptier. It's pathetic. Soo at 8.7, you have a tank with mobility on par or just far worse than its competitors, an unstabilized cannon, bad armor, and an above-average shell. Hm. And Gaijin believes this things worthy of 8.7? Hilarious. At least it gets thermal, right? This tank is terrible, don't play it. Skip it without hesitation. It's the same BR as the T-62M-1 and A1A1, and pretty much every game you fight Kpz's, Leo 2K's, XM-1's, T-72's...
