I wanted to see what kind of ambient weirdness I could create with the Monotron Delay, the Monotron Duo and the Stylophone Gen X-1 all working together. It's hard to make anything musical with these little gadgets, but there are endless possibilities for sound design. Each one has its own quirks. The monotron delay sounds the harshest on its own, but when used for its delay effects, it can create some insane space. The monotron duo can create some rather warm synth tones. The stylophone is sort of a nutty little beast, but it has more tweakable controls than the other two gadgets.
