Today’s vlog takes me on a quiet Sunday drive through Mount Plymouth, Florida, exploring the remains of what was once the Mount Plymouth Hotel and the abandoned golf course where Al Capone was rumored to have stayed. I look around what’s left of the property and reflect on how stories, rumors, and history linger long after places disappear. I also stop by a few local Mount Plymouth spots, including the IGA grocery store and Split End, a long-standing haircut spot where Cheryl Hines’ sister works. From there, I venture out to Rock Springs Ridge to finish the drive and close out the day.
