The men who takes care of the poor and needy

In this video, I share my experience visiting Manu, a dedicated individual who focuses on caring for the poor and needy. My journey began at Essencia Nature Retreat with Wander Learning Uni, and on my way back to Tamera for an interview with Dieter Duhm, I had the opportunity to explore a meaningful place that Manu has built. I spent two nights there, witnessing the efforts of Manu on this land. A significant part of my visit included observing his Sunday meditations and prayers, which are featured in the video. I also helped him to build a drainage for one of his many self-built houses that we will also see in the video. While I don’t consider this an ecovillage exploration, I felt it was important to learn about and share what I discovered during my time there. What I found most inspiring is his willingness to connect and care for the community of local portuguese living around him in the neighbourhood.
