This upgrade relocates and upgrades a standard AGM/lead acid to the spare wheel well and tucks away nicely without reducing boot space. By upgrading to Lithium,, we are saving 7kg of weight (on battery alone), optimising cold starts as well as increasing battery capacity. This relocation also places the battery in the optimal location to run short, thicker wiring direct to the fuel pumps. However, i believe the most overlooked upgrade is actually rewiring the charging circuit by cutting out old, cracked wiring and oversizing the cable to suit higher outputs and keep up with the electrical demands of a modified street/circuit car. On top of this, i have taken the opportunity to fix old hardened wiring at many connectors which have become crispy over time.
