Our route for 7 days traveling in Middle Dalmatia: "Moscow - airport Split - Trogir - Split - Hvar - island brac (Bol and Sumartin) - Makarska - Brela - Baska Voda - Makarska Riviera - Biokovo (top of St. George) - Omis - Split airport – Moscow" Weather in late September was remarkable: +22-25, the water in the sea +21-22 gr. * * Baska Voda (Baska Voda) - one of the cozy towns of the Makarska Riviera, is located 60 km from split, 10 km from Makarska and 75 km from the airport. Not so many years ago it was a small fishing village and today has become one of the most popular resorts in Croatia with hospitable people, variety of restaurants and bars, pebble beaches and clear sea. Years it a lot: the first records date to the 18th century, as that time, when I finished the war with the Turks. Since then, the village has preserved a lot of buildings and old churches: St. Nicholas and St. Lovro. On three sides around the Head, the Water around the pine forest, and the fourth is sandy (which is a rarity for Croatia) beach and clear water sea.
