PN delegation headed by VCNS, visited Türkiye for Pak Navy-Turkish Navy Expert-Level Staff Talks

A high-level Pakistan Navy delegation headed by Vice Admiral Ovais Ahmed Bilgrami, the Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, visited Türkiye for Pakistan Navy-Turkish Navy Expert-Level Staff Talks. Co-chaired with Vice Admiral Yalcin Payal, Chief of Staff Turkish Naval Forces, the talks focused on evolving maritime security environment, enhancing naval cooperation, operational activities, training exchanges and collaboration in the field of defence production. The VCNS also called on Admiral Ercument Tatlioglu, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces. During the call, discussions mainly focused on strengthening bilateral naval cooperation, increasing joint operational coordination and addressing emerging maritime challenges in the region. In addition, the VCNS met Mr Musa Heybet, Deputy Minister of National Defence and General Kemal Yeni, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Turkish Armed Forces. During the interactions, matters of mutual interest and avenues to enhance mutual cooperation were discussed. The Staff Talks are a key component of regular high-level exchanges between the two Navies and reflect the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.
