Hi everyone welcome to my channel! I have some EXCITING NEWS!!! I will be one of the guest instructors at the prestigious Fluid Art Experience - Learn, Live & Be Inspired which is coming back to it's hometown and my hometown of Dallas, Texas!!! I will be joined by nine other AMAZING artists and I can't wait to share my fluid/dot art fusion and dot ocean wave class! To purchase tickets check out www.fluidartexperience.com. Tickets are on sale RIGHT NOW and they are going fast!!! In today’s video I will be doing a comparison between Amsterdam Pearlescent paints and Golden Interference paints. The reason why these paints appear to be white is because each particular is coated with Titanium Dioxide better known as Titanium white. Interference paints appear more of their mysterious color in a dark base due to light frequency being absorbed while the light frequency reflects over them on a lighter base. They are not to be confused with Iridescent paints since iridescent paints are coated with Iron Dioxide which give them a metallic shade… Materials: 8x10 level one canvases available at Walmart Amsterdam Pearlescent Paints: Amsterdam Pearl Red Amsterdam Pearl Blue Amsterdam Pearl Green Amsterdam Pearl White Amsterdam Pearl Yellow Amsterdam Pearl Violet Golden Interference Paints: Golden Interference Blue Golden Interference Violet Golden Interference Orange Golden Interference Red Golden Interference Gold Golden Interference Green Golden Interference CT Green - Violet Golden Interference CT Orange - Green Golden Interference CT Green - Blue Pouring Medium 70 % U.S. Floetrol 30 % GAC 800 Add water for consistency and no water needed for Golden Fluids 3:1 Pouring Medium to paint ratio Cell Activator: Amsterdam Lamp Black Tri - Art Titanium White Australian Floetrol 3:1 ratio Amsterdam paint purchased from: Fluid-art.co rinskedouna.com.
