🎙 In this episode, we sit down with Teresa Dinsmore, who shares her powerful journey that began in August 2004 when, at just 42 years old, a routine mammogram changed her life. Within an hour, Teresa was called back for further testing after doctors found an abnormality—what would later be diagnosed as Stage 1 breast cancer. Determined to fight with everything she had, Teresa began an intense battle that included a lumpectomy, followed by a mastectomy on her right side after discovering additional cancer cells. When it was found that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, doctors removed 13—one of which tested positive—leading to six months of chemotherapy and radiation. By early 2006, Teresa was officially declared cancer-free. Despite a strong family history of cancer, her genetic testing came back negative—leaving her to reflect on her own theories about what may have contributed to her diagnosis. Now, two decades later, Teresa stands as a symbol of resilience and hope. Her message is clear: Survive. Inspire. Empower. 💪 *Join the Kickin’ Cancer Community:* 👉 [Subscribe to our Channel]( / @kickincancer ) 👉 [Follow Us On Instagram]( / kickin_cancer_cares ) 👉 [Follow Us On Facebook]( / wearekickingcancer ) 👉 [Visit Our Website](http://www.kicking-cancer.org/) 👉 [Support Our Mission](https://kicking-cancer.org/donate/) 📧 Questions?
