📍 Karachi Road Trip | Exploring Historical Landmarks & Culture** 🛣️ Welcome to the episode 06 of season 02, and the first vlog of my Karachi city adventure! After an unforgettable 1700+ km road trip from Islamabad, traveling through Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Cholistan Desert, and Sukkur, I’ve finally reached the heart of Sindh – Karachi... In the previous episodes, I explored: The spiritual aura of Multan’s shrines The royal beauty of Noor Mahal in Bahawalpur The mystical sands of the Cholistan Desert The historical depth of Aror Valley and Sukkur Barrage But now, it’s time to dive deep into the vibrant energy of *Karachi*, Pakistan’s largest city and economic hub. --- 🎬 In this vlog: ☀️ Morning in Karachi: Started the day with a hearty breakfast and gave my car a much-needed wash after the long journey. 👬 Picked up my cousin from Tariq Road, and the Karachi exploration officially began! 🏛️ First Stop – Frere Hall Located in the heart of Saddar, Frere Hall is one of Karachi’s most iconic colonial-era buildings. Built in 1865 during the British Raj, this Venetian Gothic structure now functions as a public library and art gallery. The building is surrounded by serene gardens and regularly hosts art exhibitions. Don’t miss the murals by Sadequain, a legendary Pakistani artist, painted on the ceiling of the hall! 🏠 Next – Quaid-e-Azam House Museum (Flagstaff House): A beautifully preserved colonial bungalow that once served as the residence of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. The museum houses Jinnah's personal belongings including his furniture, clothes, accessories, and rare photographs. Located on Fatima Jinnah Road, this historical site offers a personal glimpse into the life of the Father of the Nation. 🍽️ Quick Lunch Stop – Kebabjees Refueled at one of Karachi's favorite local fast food chains. If you’re ever in Karachi, Kebabjees is a must-try for its mouthwatering BBQ and fast food options. 🕊️ Final Stop – Mazar-e-Quaid (Jinnah Mausoleum): Visited the iconic Mazar-e-Quaid, the final resting place of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Though the main mausoleum was closed for public entry, I explored the surrounding graves of: Fatima Jinnah (Mother of the Nation) Liaquat Ali Khan (1st PM of Pakistan) Noor-ul-Amin (8th PM of Pakistan) Abdul Rab Nishtar, and other notable figures. Also explored the museum at Mazar-e-Quaid, featuring Quaid’s vintage cars, personal items, clothing, and even his original bed and study desk. 😞 Sadly, not being able to visit the actual grave of Quaid-e-Azam was disappointing, but the overall experience was deeply moving and educational. --- ✨ Don’t forget to Like, comment, and subscribe if you’re enjoying this Pakistan road trip series.
