This is the museum's main attraction and the sheer size of this model railway is unbelievable. Most layout's feature a certain amount of compromise but not here! The enormous size of this huge layout means that the trains really do disappear off into the distance as they run through landscape. Meanwhile the unbelievable attention to detail around the station and village scenes is sure to provide plenty of inspiration as the full length freight and passenger trains wind their way through the Vale. If you ever get a chance to visit Pendon Museum, I highly recommend a visit! * No sound on this video I'm afraid as there was a group of particularly noisy kids running around at the time.
