Junior doctors in West Bengal organized a 'Mashaal March' from RG Kar Medical College to Shyambazar on September 29. In August, a female trainee doctor was found dead in the seminar hall of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. This incident sparked nationwide protests demanding justice for the victim. On September 10, Principal Sandip Ghosh and three others were remanded to judicial custody by the CBI Court.
