Winter Variation is a set of 27 algorithms that allows you to skip OLL in certain cases when you insert your last F2L pair. If all of your last layer edges are oriented, and your pair is set up in the R U' R' insert (or its mirror), you can do a slightly longer algorithm that will insert the pair and skip OLL.
