Prison Fellowship Debuts New Mission and Vision at Live Event

At an event hosted by the ‪@NationalCommunityChurch‬ in Washington, D.C., Prison Fellowship’s president and CEO, Heather Rice-Minus, announced the organization’s new mission and vision statements. Prison Fellowship will continue to carry on the work envisioned by founder Chuck Colson, but with a renewed focus on church partnerships, including with the Church inside of prisons. Since 1976, Prison Fellowship has aimed to bring restoration to those behind bars and their families. Today, Prison Fellowship celebrates the way we encounter Jesus together when we come alongside the Church inside. We hope to see a revival of the Church inside and outside prison that brings justice, mercy, and hope to our culture.
