Europe’s Zeitenwende and the future of European integration

While the EU has reacted in a swift, decisive, and united manner to this crisis, Russia’s war in Ukraine poses uncomfortable questions for the future of European integration and the progress of EU reform. What steps should the EU take to reform at this time of heightened geopolitical tension? How ambitious should leaders be? Can the conclusions of the Conference on the Future of Europe help find a way forward at this decisive point in time? This Policy Dialogue took place in the context of the EPC’s Moving EuropE Together (MEET), reflecting on the project’s thematic outcomes and general policy directions.
