We are talking about a phenomenal watch that is actually called the Aston Martin Amvox from Jaeger Lecoultre. Now you might remember the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger. We've been talking about bond a little bit this morning, and some of the other videos. In that film, he famously drove an Eston Martin DB5. And that was that a car was only made for a few years. It's considered the most beautiful sports car ever made by a lot of the kind of auto journalists. And if you remember that car in that movie, he had all sorts of fancy things on it that you can't get on a real Aston Martin, but Aston Martins are still being made. There it's a brand that's over a hundred years old. It's one of the most respected British auto makers in history. Right now their current lineup starts out at about $150,000. They're not for everybody, but even if you can't afford the car, wow, you could get this watch and you can have part of that Aston Martin heritage, that lineage right on your wrist and enjoy the technological prowess, the attention to detail, the incredible hand craftsmanship that goes into the cars and just have it reflected right on your watch. There's a lot of automotive cues on this watch. We've talked before about auto cues on watches. This one really goes a little bit above and beyond some of the standard watch collaborations with auto companies. One of the things you see on this one is that the crown itself, it looks like the fuel cap on a sports car. The center part of the dial, the dial itself has just amazing. It has multiple parts, different layers, different areas that are on different planes. When you look at this watch in different lights, it always looks a little bit different depending on how the light is hitting it and how you've got it turned. But the center of the dial looks a lot like a brake rotor. And then at the bottom, there's a partially skeletonized part of the dial where you see some red hammers showing through there really reminiscent of the red brake calipers from the Aston Martin current lineup of cars. But this watch itself, it's a, it's a reissue of essentially of the Memovox from Jaeger Lecoultre. And what they did was, starting back in 2006, there a collaborative effort and creativity between Aston Martin and Jaeger Lecoultre. So you got the very tip top of pressing things forward in the automobile industry, as well as Jaeger, are really, they are at the forefront of pushing forward the technology and watchmaking as well. So it's a collaboration that makes sense. Going back almost a hundred years, Edmund Jaeger, used to make, gauges and instruments, precision instruments for the aircraft and automobile industry. So going way back, if you look at Aston Martin cars from the twenties and thirties often they'll have gauges that were made by Edmund Jaeger or Jaeger Lecoultre. So when you look at the dial of this, watch the way the numbers are set up, you only have the Arabic numbers between four and eight, not at the bottom of it, of the dial. So it looks a lot like the gauges on a car. And, yeah, the innovation on this watch is just stunning. You have a blank titanium case, which is just an unusual material in itself. It's a 44 millimeter case. So it sits just right on just about everybody, 44 millimeters. And this watch is not the same as 44 in some others because the, the lugs are not real long. It really just sits just right on those people. But the titanium case is coupled with one of the most unique movements in the watch world. Jaeger Lecoultre has a patent on it, so you won't see it from anyone else. It really makes a lot of sense. If you think about someone trying to unscrew the pushers on a Rolex Daytona and actually use that while they're road racing, it would be very difficult to do that with your gloved hand while you're racing a car. #JaegerLecoultre #AstonMartin #JLCWatches #JLCWatch #Watches #MensWatches #LuxuryWatches #SwissWatches
