India is facing a major diplomatic row after BJP leaders stirred hornets' nest with their 'provocative' comments on Prophet Muhammad. Nupur Sharma's statement has sparked outrage across the Muslim countries, especially in the Gulf. Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia have condemned remarks on Prophet Muhammed by 2 BJP leaders. While BJP was quick to expel Nupur Sharma and N Jindal from the party's primary membership, OIC was quick to condemn India. Pakistan also jumped into the row and used the opportunity to slam India.
