[Taken on 6-7-2022] After a long time, I finally got back to a Great Wolf Lodge location. This is my forst tour of a Great Wolf Lodge. Built in 2001, this was the second Great Wolf Lodge location to open. (Wisconsin Dells was the first.) This lodge originally opened as the Great Bear Lodge but changed its name after Great Wolf Lodge went all around the country. My stay here was wonderful and I highly recommend this place. When you walk into the hotel, you are greeted with woodsy and rustic scenery all around. There are many stores such as Dunkin' Donuts, Build-a-Bear Workshop, Buckhorn Exchange, Hungry as a Wolf, and the Great Wolf Candy Company. While staying here, you have to check out the Bear Track Landing Waterpark and the Northern Lights Arcade. Those attractions and features are so much fun. We stayed in an amazing two story loft suite with a fireplace. Sandusky sits right in between Toledo and Cleveland and is situated on Lake Erie. You are also just 5 miles away from Cedar Point.
