Sensamotion & Loud City - Reds and Blues (Official Audio) Listen/stream here: https://ineffable.to/redsandblueswith... 3 years to make this possible which is why it feels so strange writing this now… In the beginning of 2023, my good friends and managers Graeme and Karrilee connected me with Loud City, a reggae producer based in L.A. He worked with an artist I loved so much when I was a teenager, Eesah. Learning that Loud City wanted to work with me, I jumped on the opportunity to collaborate on a track together. The premise was- what if we took early 1960s soul and put a skank beat on it. That’s the essence of Reds and Blues. Way later on, I got the attention of a record label out in California, Ineffable Records. Through them I had the fortune of having Sensamotion sing on the track. And Sensamotion having such an established footprint in the West Coast reggae scene and collaborations with artists such as Stick Figure- that too, was an opportunity I had to jump on. I've always wanted to experiment to find a way to tastefully strike a balance between the type of music I've always made and found comfort making with the sonic richness of my background as a Trinidadian and person from the Caribbean. This was my honest, humble and first try at that experiment. And with my first time working with a record label, the release of Reds and Blues is the most important step I've taken in my music career thus far. Honestly, I'm really proud of this and myself.
