The Delhi Police took into custody Premoday Khakha who will be presented in court today, an official from the Delhi Government, who has been accused of sexually assaulting a minor. Khakha, who holds the position of Deputy Director in the Delhi Government's Women and Child Development department, was apprehended along with his wife. The political blame game has also begun over the issue. The BJP is demanding an answer from AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) and Arvind Kejriwal over the late arrest made and appointment of such an official. On the other hand, the AAP is denying any involvement and says that the police are controlled by the Centre. The allegations against Khakha include sexually assaulting and impregnating the minor, while his wife is suspected of involvement by encouraging the minor to undergo an abortion after she became pregnant.
