Thunder Warrior (TXC) (FC/NES)

This is a platformer released by legendary famiclone manufacturer Micro Genius. In Spain it was published in NES format by a company called Gluk, which changed the main character sprite to match their mascot. It seems to be themed around Buddhist mythology and has some nice music and visuals (though the main character sprite does look a little goofy). This game is sort of known for having weird controls, which I have seen some reviewers cite as a reason to not like the game, but there is an easy solution to this problem: just learn how to play the game. I played this mostly blind on-off for two days before recording this and the controls began to feel much more natural. It does feel pretty bad the first time playing though.
