In this episode of the Ladakh Series, we ride from Hanle to Tso Moriri Lake, one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in Ladakh. This route is around 170 KM long and is considered one of the most isolated roads in Ladakh, where you will hardly find any traffic or network coverage. During this journey we explore some hidden high-altitude lakes like Chilling Tso and Kyagar Tso, which are located above 15,000 ft and are much less known compared to Pangong Lake. Along the way we cross important places like Loma Bridge, Nyoma (last petrol pump in the region), and Mahe Bridge, before finally reaching Korzok Village, the small village located near the stunning Tso Moriri Lake. At nearly 14,836 ft above sea level, Tso Moriri is one of the largest high-altitude lakes completely within India, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and peaceful landscapes.
