Nicholas Melillo aka Nick Melillo aka Nick R Agua aka Chief of Broadleaf is flipping the cigar game on its head right now. He also has an impressive instagram page @NickRAgua and sometimes reposts fans' pics. He hasn't reposted any mine yet, but... fingers crossed. He recently left his buddy Jonathan Drew of Drew Estates to start his own company: Foundation Cigars. He is absolutely killing it. Every cigar he blends, including The Tabernacle and Wise Man and El Gueguense are all phenomenal cigars, as well as the cigars in this video. I am personally a big fan and have a few boxes of his blends, as you can see by this video (Okay, I'll admit it, I have all his releases- everything except The Upsetters). I will also be unboxing and reboxing The Wise Man Maduro aka El Gueguense Maduro and The Tabernacle (probably the lancero vitola) in the near future, along with The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT #142. The man is a legend. He knows cigars. Better yet, he knows tobacco. He's like the Quentin Tarantino or the Michael Jordan or the Eminem basically he's super good at this cigar game stuff of cigars and tobacco blends. Maybe he's the Jay-Z of it, because Jay Z also left Roc A Fella at one point in his career and ventured off on his own, sort of like Melillo did. Only Nick left Jonathan Drew and Jay Z left Damon Dash. Both men have gone on to bigger and better things. Anyway, Nick R Agua aka Chief of the Broadleaf aka Nicholas Melillo is getting respect put on his check. Put some respect on my check (Beyonce). Put some respect on my name (Birdman). Nick gets that. Whether you're a cigar aficionado or you're a cigar blender or you own a big cigar company, you have to admit, Nick is a force to be reckoned with. I'm certain every cigar guy and girl out there have at least one Foundation Cigar in their Top 5. Whether you smoke cigars or you make them, you own a Foundation Cigar- at least one. As per Melillo's Instagram page, it is clear Melillo has ventured into music and music videos that reference and perhaps even revolve around cigars. The song I heard was actually a decent song in my opinion. I liked it. And the fact that he filmed the music video in a tobacco factory in Nicaragua just adds to the appeal.
