Got to take the 8 and 10m Marabou out in some freezing fog - snow was great, but visibility left a little to be desired. With that said, it was a nice test in some legitimate snow conditions. Winds were 10-12 kts. 8m was a little underpowered, but the 10m was definitely in its element. Great power and nice float off of rollers. I found I could bleed off speed nicely and edge upwind well when I wanted to. Tests keep confirming this is going to make an excellent snowkite, with a little more speed, lift and upwind ability than your traditional single skin, but still a lot of the light weight. ease-of-use, and power-per-square-meter that single skins are known for.
