This is one of Jimmy Scott's model steam films. It is filmed in Bergvliet which is in the southern suburbs of Cape Town, South Africa. The label on the film just says "Bill Schutz's track". The intro sequence says: C.G.R. Bill Schutz's track Bergvliet "CGR" is "Cape Garden Railway" which is not obvious from this film, but is shown in other related films. This is probably a play on "Cape Government Railways" which is what the Cape railways were called before they were merged into South African Railways in 1910. According to this page, Bill Schutz was an accomplished railway photographer in the 1930s as well as a model engineer and it features a few of his pictures: https://sites.google.com/site/soulora... 00:00: Various locos 04:28 Jimmy Scott's 3.5" Lady Mary on dual-gauge track 05:15 Jan Hugo’s 3.5" 16E (/F) 08:00 Lady Mary again 08:40 Others, including 16E again and small green tank loco 10:45 another Jan Hugo’s loco?
