I only purchased one plant but now I have up to 7 total! The basal shoots have taken their time but are finally starting to shoot off new basals after about 3 months. They are still small but showing signs of new growth! The main nepenthes plants are both producing pitchers. The one in straight long fiber sphagnum moss is producing more pitchers but it also has the better place under the light. The plant in all peat, perlite and silica sand mix is not producing as many pitchers but does have 3 new basal shoots to the other plants only 1. It still seems to be up in the air to witch of these substrates is really performing better. Hopefully more time will be able to settle this debate! I'm really happy with all the new growth from my nepenthes ventrata plants. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them!
