There are three options which must be selected in order for the drop box to be built to your specifications. First is the color: Black, White, Gray, Almond or Red. The next option is for the wall thickness. The final is the package size height option. There are three wall thickness options: 4, 8 and 12 inches. For walls and doors up to four inches the first option will be the best. For walls up to eight inches the second option would be best and for walls up to 12 inches the last option would be best. Please note: The receptacle may have to be recessed into the interior of the wall for the best fit. The greatest package height which can be dropped into the drop box is 2-3/4 This is due to the throat size. The drop door is recessed back approximately 1 inch. This makes phishing items out more difficult. Anti-Phishing teeth are incorporated at the bottom of the drop door making phishing items back out nearly impossible. Also incorporated in the drop door is the hoper mechanism. This means when the drop door is opened the back of the drop slot closes keeping someone from reaching in a taking or phishing items out. This drop box comes with an interior flange finish rough cut. If being installed though a door please note the door must be able to hold 20 to 25 lbs. Your package or envelope can be no wider than 9-3/4" inches. The width of the drop box is 10 inches. The depth of the item being dropped can be no greater 6 inches. This drop box is constructed of 12 gauge steel and powder coated. It is made in the USA and made to order and production time is roughly 2 to 3 weeks and occasionally longer.
