In this video, I will play through The Sacrifice on the original Left 4 Dead on Xbox with a controller while doing it solo on Expert, which is playing it single-player with bots. The Sacrifice is a the final campaign for Left 4 Dead 1. It actually is not very hard on the original game. Frankly, I had more trouble on the second game Expert Realism. The main difference being the Realism modifier and extra specials to look out for. Yes, there’s bile jars, but the fight on level 1 is still very hard. You can’t do the trick on the second game that I used here where you can spawn the tank and horde separately by staying to the side of the train car and not getting within line of sight when opening it. You need to incap your teammates since they’ll get behind you and be within the line of sight. Beyond that, level 2 isn’t hard, and the finale can be challenging since you need to keep the bots alive and the tank beats them till they’re dead. I did have minimal difficulty on it due to good positioning, lots of items, and good kiting on the tank. Ultimately, I died three times on level 1, once on level 2, and twice on level 3. It’s nice to finally be done with the full series on the hardest difficulties. Hopefully this can be helpful to watch for anyone who might want to attempt it themselves, as I’ve learned a lot of tricks and good places to hold out for events.
