Here's a compilation featuring various level crossings on the North Downs Line in the Surrey Hills in August 2024. Both full and half barrier crossings feature in this video, as does an array of surviving older equipment including 'GWE' and Mk.1 twin-arm barriers and bells! However, the 'GWE' barriers seen at Betchworth have since bitten the dust after an impressive nearly 50 years of service too, although the set-up and distinctive alarm sound I and we have loved for years still remains. I hope this variety of crossing equipment outweighs the lack of train variety, and you enjoy this video!
