HELL YES! A VERY good run with many lucky moments (and some unlucky ones). My objective was going below 19m30, but I didn't expect to beat the 19m20 barrier! After surviving E1M7 with a total of 18m21, I was happy because my estimate for E1M8 was about 1min and a few seconds, which would satisfy my objective. However, I managed to pull of E1M8 in 58 seconds, and get a final time of 19m19, which is a great time. Looking at my splits, the sum of all the best segments is 18m48, but this is in theory. To get a time like this, we would need immaculately-lucky-RNG from the first to the last map, which just doesn't happen in practice. I believe that this time of 19m19 can be beaten by a few seconds, but I'm not sure if going under 19m10 is possible. This run was the result of 3 months of work; I've been studying, attempting and practicing UV Max runs of the individual levels of episode 1 from January to March, spending a total of 80 in-game hours. I've loved the experience so far, and I've learned a lot about speedrunning Doom in the process. Commenting and producing the video for this run also required quite a bit of work and dedication; I do hope it gives some insight into what's happening during the run, and what were my thoughts + strategy + techniques.
