Dance Drills: Locking Basics - Wrist twirl, the point, the five, the pace, and the lock. Learning to combine these locking fundamental moves to a simple locking routine. To become a great dancer, the moves have got to be drilled into the muscle memory. In this dance exercise/drill video, I created 3 sets of 4 - 8 counts with 3 different tempo. The different speed trains the muscle control. The challenge is to repeatedly drill this combination of locking moves into our muscle memory in order to become a natural dancer. When we don't have to think about the move, it will become natural. Challenge yourself to do the entire drill with me at least once a day. In a short amount of time, you will improve dramatically.
