Please, do not buy this instrument for the sound. It's so bad. It is pretty clear it was a way to introduce more people to the VSTs Expressive E makes, because otherwise, I could not fathom how and why the presets would sound SO bad, almost comically so. That said, this is Beyon Felt, probably one of the 5 I would find at least acceptable (at least not ear-grating and depressing and reminiscent of the no-brand keyboard you got as a kid for 20 dobloons). I took out the Osmose from the box for JAMuary, hoping my memory of it was somewhat mistaken, caught in the disappointment of the first unboxing, but no, it was still the same, now with the added malus of the biblical loading times while switching presets. Let's make a master keyboard already! For a reduced price, obviously. ANYWAY: this is my absolute favourite piece written for cello – ever, and the keybed of the Osmose is amazing to recreate that feeling; and no, the string sounds onboard are atrocious.
