Zelda A Link to the Past - Mothula - Sword only

Mothula beaten without taking damage using only the Master Sword (Lv.2). Played in real time on Snes9x v1.43 rerecording. There really aren't any tricks for beating this fight with only the sword. You just need to be able to keep track of Mothula's movements, the floor movement and how that affects your running speed, which spike traps are shaking and about to move, which have moved and are about to move back, where you'll be safe from Mothula's shots, etc. Then you need good reflexes so that you can move quickly and precisely enough to dodge everything. It's simple in concept but very hard in execution. Note that there's a bug in the SNES version of the game that sometimes prevents Mothula from taking damage when hit. Because of this you'll notice that it takes fifteen hits (the spin attack counts as two) to kill Mothula in the video when it should only take eight.
