BLUEGILL fishing in a river swamp {Catch, Clean, Cook} This BIG fish is a new PB!! In this video I went bluegill fishing in a river swamp using a cane pole and crickets as bait. The morning bite started out slow, so I switched to redworms as bait and the fish bite picked up instantly. I started catching some quality size fish like bluegill, warmouth, and shellcracker but I was after some big fish to keep and eat so I released them back into the water. About an hour into the fishing trip, I caught a bluegill bream that was so big I couldn't wrap my hand around it, I released the fish back into the river and it turned out to be my new pb of the year. By the end of the fishing trip, I managed to catch some quality size fish to keep and eat and caught a few other huge fish that put the cane pole to the test.
