I had left Lyon, where I live, the night before, late at 11PM and slept in my car at around 1AM to the south of Grenoble, driving another hour and a bit to the site the following morning. I was quite tired and wasn't expecting the conditions to be that good... but boy did they produce! In total I flew 5.5 hours and 128KM (flat triangle, although not fully closed), my best distance and time records to date. This video I made documents most of the journey there.
