Visit Spoleto’s magnificent medieval Duomo (cathedral), a 1st century A.D. Roman house with mosaic floors, and the 14th-century frescoed Papal fortress towering over Spoleto. Anne will take you below the fortress, over the 13th-century fortified bridge that stretches out towards Monteluco, once a sacred wood for the Romans. Below the woods, admire the Romanesque splendor of the 12th Century Church of San Pietro.
