British Airways' Club Suite business class is known for providing a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience, and we've had the pleasure of flying it multiple times. However, this flight was particularly exciting for us, as it marked our first time experiencing the Club Suite on the Airbus A350-1000. Having already flown on their Boeing 777-300ER, we were curious to see how the business class product on the A350 would compare. The verdict? Both planes offer a similar level of comfort, with the seats on the A350 providing a sense of privacy and spaciousness that’s on par with the 777. That said, the Airbus A350 does have a few advantages: the overhead bins are larger, and the cabin pressure in-flight is lower, which makes a difference especially for longer flights. As always, the service from the crew was impeccable. Attentive, friendly, and professional—British Airways consistently delivers on the customer service front. I’m usually not the biggest fan of BA's in-flight catering, but on this occasion, the meals really impressed. They were delicious and certainly enhanced the overall travel experience. All in all, this flight to London was a delightful journey. What I Liked: The Seats – British Airways' new Club Suite marks a major upgrade over their previous Club World product. The seats convert into full-flat beds for a restful sleep on long-haul flights, while offering plenty of personal space, direct aisle access, and the added privacy of sliding doors. Together, these features create a more comfortable and relaxing business class experience. The In-Flight Service – The service from the crew was pleasant and provided a satisfactory experience. While the level of warmth and engagement wasn't exceptional, the crew remained attentive and courteous throughout the flight. We appreciated the hot towel and pre-departure beverage service, which contributed to the overall comfort. The crew members were friendly and regularly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. The Food – The catering on this flight, was exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For starters, my companion enjoyed the beef bresaola plate, while I opted for the broccoli and cheddar soup—both dishes were served with warm artisan bread and a side of quinoa salad. For the main course, I had the beef short rib, which was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, while my companion’s honey-roasted salmon was light, flaky, and perfectly cooked. We both chose the banana caramel bread pudding for dessert, which was decadent and a perfect way to end the meal. Although there was no mid-flight meal service, the crew set up the Club Kitchen snack bar near the galley for those looking for a quick bite. About an hour and a half before landing, a pre-arrival meal was served, starting with a plate of fresh fruit and followed by a hearty full English breakfast. Overall, the catering on this flight not only surpassed our expectations but also played a significant role in making the journey more enjoyable. What I didn't Like: No Personal Air Nozzles – A notable drawback on British Airways’ A350s is the absence of personal air nozzles, which can be disappointing for passengers. Without individual ventilation controls, it can be harder to regulate personal comfort, particularly since BA tends to maintain a warmer cabin temperature. The Club at LAS – British Airways uses the Club at LAS, a contracted lounge that, unfortunately, falls short of expectations. The lounge is relatively small, and during our visit, it felt cramped due to limited seating and a higher-than-usual number of passengers. As a result, finding a comfortable spot to relax was a bit challenging. The food and beverage offerings were also somewhat underwhelming, with a limited selection that didn’t quite match the quality one might expect from a premium airline experience. It was OK, I guess… The Business Class Amenities – While British Airways doesn't provide pajamas or slippers in business class, they do offer a selection of thoughtful amenities. A leather pouch from The White Company London awaited us at our seats, stocked with noise-canceling headphones and bottled water. The bedding and pillow were of good quality, and the addition of a thin mattress pad made the seat a bit more comfortable for sleeping. Although the lavatories weren’t particularly spacious, they were well-maintained, regularly cleaned, and stocked with a selection of toiletries.
