In this lesson, we discuss these dermatophytes, along with risk factors for infection, signs and symptoms (ex. hair loss), a variation of clinical presentations (including Favus, or “Tinea Favosa”, and Kerions), how Tinea capitis is diagnosed and how a fungal infection on the scalp is treated.
