Established in 1988, the nationally accredited Henry Ford Bone Marrow Stem Cell Transplant Program offers all three types of transplantation: autologous (patients receive their own cells), allogeneic (patients receive matching cells from a related or unrelated donor), and syngeneic (for identical twins only).
