This is an overhaul procedure video for the E13 XC bottom bracket bearings. Bike pictured is my Muru Witjira titanium fatbike, these cranks are OEM spec on this bike. NOTES/FAQs: The bearing press used in the video is a professional level tool made by Wheels Manufacturing. You could substitute it with a rear skewer and some large washers. The red grease used during the video is a commercially available heavy-weight vehicle bearing grease, suitable for boat axle applications. Never hammer any part of the bearing during teardown or assembly, gentle force is all that is required. Hammer impacts will pit the bearing races. You could further tune this bearing by replacing all loose steel balls in the retainer with ceramic balls, then pack with a ceramic specific grease. The BB cups only show 1 spacer each side between cup and frame, I use BB30 thin wafer spacers between crank and black plastic bb cup seal, to dial in the chainline for this bike.
